About Pershore Jazz

Pershore Jazz has grown from small beginnings to become a well respected part of the British jazz scene. Our intent has always been to present the very best in jazz by local, national and internationally renowned musicians, with a diverse programme of styles from the colourful history of the music. Whilst the Club tends to be more traditional, the Festival provides scope for a much wider range of jazz appreciation and we feel that following only one particular style means missing a lot of good music. Young musicians are especially welcomed (as are young audiences!) because they are the future of jazz, and a number of young bands have returned to Pershore with noticeable maturity since their last visit. We find more musicians and fans from overseas are enquiring about our events because jazz is a truly international music and here at Pershore we are pleased and proud to be just a small part of it.

We are a not-for-profit organisation run by an unpaid committee dedicated to the cause of quality jazz for all to enjoy.
