THE ANNUAL FESTIVAL WILL NO LONGER BE HELD DUE TO THE LOSS OF THE UNIQUE VENUE
THE PERSHORE COLLEGE HAD FOR MANY YEARS BEEN AN IDEAL PLACE TO HOLD THE FESTIVAL AND WE HAVE HAD VERY SUCCESSFUL YEARS PROVIDING JAZZ OF DIFFERENT GENRES TO A VERY APPRECIATE AUDIENCE
IN FACT 'THE SMALL FESTIVAL WITH A BIG HEART' WAS ALMOST A FAMILY EVENT EACH YEAR
IT WILL BE SADLY MISSED BY ALL

From small beginnings as a free festival held in the town Pershore Jazz grew in popularity & established itself as a small stroller festival held in the lovely surroundings of the Pershore College in August every year. Known as “the little festival with a big heart” it became a respected part of the British Jazz Scene presenting the very best in jazz
After 18 highly successful years & the covid cancellations our unique venue was no longer available for our use.
In its place we have for 5 years organised an all-day special jazz event - PERSHORE JAZZ ON A SUMMER'S DAY
Unfortunately this jazz day will not be held in 2026
The success of the festival encouraged regular jazz concerts so a monthly jazz club was started in June 2006 which has flourished into a highly successful and well attended evening – see club page for more information.
