What a night we had for our first session back at the function room, Pershore Town Football Club!

Great atmosphere – the audience turned out in their numbers and the band, who had travelled many miles, thoroughly entertained creating a superb evening’s jazz which was enjoyed by all

Concerns over current Covid constraints were well managed and everyone felt safe and comfortable

The band’s repertoire whilst paying homage to the sounds and recordings of Alex Welsh and his band also added tunes of their choice. Highlight tunes for me in the first set were renditions of ‘Pasadena’ and ‘Gone’ and in the 2nd set ‘Montmartre’ and ‘Surf Side Samba’. Their final number was a fabulous arrangement of ‘Royal Garden Blues’
