A super evening of entertainment by Graham’s band with as always all sorts of music to cater for all sorts of musical tastes

A varied programme was delivered by the excellent musicians who play together as if they played every night of the week. Alex Clarke fitted in beautifully and demonstrated her talents along side the guys. Her feature in the first half, Stardust, on soprano sax was delightful. Other tunes during the first set were Lester Leaps In, Fidgety Feet, Pennies From Heaven a vocal from Gary, My Baby Just Cares For Me, Take the A Train which had a lovely guitar intro from Jim, St James Infirmary Blues, a great feature from Jim with a tune called Watch What Happens which was fabulous, Some of These Days and ending with Panama

The second set was just as thrilling with a lovely feature version from Martin of The Nearness of You along with Royal Garden Blues, Dont Get Around Much Anymore, I Thought About You, Crazy Bout My Baby, Out of Nowhere, Its Only A Paper Moon, Just a Little While, Birth of the Blues, My Baby Just Cares For Me and a great Duke Ellington tune to finish Caravan.

Time went so quickly as it does when you are having fun! Graham makes this band different each time by using different musicians and they never fail to please their audience. Everyone went home happy

Come back soon and thank you
